Job Description
Do you want to combine textile materials, sustainability, and product development in a role where you can grow into future certification work? With our client, you will grow with the role and will also be involved with materials for products that are not yet certified.
Your Main Responsibilities
As a Materials & Certification Specialist, you will drive product-related material issues, develop and quality-assure technical documentation for certification, participate in product development projects, collaborate with suppliers and test institutes, follow relevant standards, and integrate sustainability into material and product selection.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with post-secondary education in textile technology, materials science, or similar, and who has already gained practical experience with textile materials in product development. You are accustomed to working systematically with technical documentation, material data, and requirements according to relevant standards, preferably related to PPE. You thrive in an operational role close to the product, are thorough, methodical, and have a strong interest in regulations, certification processes, and sustainable development.
Meritorious
It is advantageous if you have experience with product certifications, test institutes, or other external review bodies. Knowledge of sustainability issues, future material solutions, and previous work in smaller organizations with close cross-functional collaboration are considered particularly valuable.
