Qualified Teacher for IES Falun: Mathematics Temporary Position Internationella Engelska Skolan Falun is a school for grades 4-9 with approximately 450 students, and we are now seeking a qualified mathematics teacher who would like to work with us starting in September 2026. We are looking for someone who, together with our other educators, can support and inspire our students to reach their full potential during their school years with us. This includes close collaboration with several different teachers and significant engagement with individual students. Mentorship will be part of your responsibilities, and you will be part of two work teams: a Year Team, led by the year coordinator, and the Mathematics Department, led by the subject coordinator. Additionally, you will be part of a network of mathematics teachers from our other IES schools in Sweden to share experiences and develop our school operations. This is an opportunity to work in an international environment with a clear pedagogical philosophy. Our lessons are conducted in both English and Swedish depending on the subject. Of course, we follow the Swedish national curriculum. We place great importance on personal suitability, and we expect that you have a genuine interest in children and young people. In our school, academic standards are important, which is why you need to be confident in your teaching role and have the ability to create a good working environment in our student groups. You also need to be a team player, have high work standards, and enjoy working with people in an international school environment.
