JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
We are now seeking a mathematics teacher who can work with specialist teaching instruction and would like to join us on the exciting journey of launching Skövde's new upper secondary school, Science Cityskolan, with a planned start in the 2027/28 academic year.
The position is initially based at Eriksdalskolan's upper secondary level, where we currently have approximately 160 students and a warm, competent team of teachers, student assistants, student welfare staff, principal, and deputy principal. You will be part of our student welfare team consisting of a special education teacher, counselor, school nurse, psychologist, speech-language pathologist, and additional specialist teachers. The student welfare team meets weekly to plan student welfare work at both strategic and operational levels. The special education teacher and specialist teachers also meet weekly to plan instruction in detail.
Together, we have already begun shaping the new school and are now seeking a colleague who wants to contribute with both commitment and fresh ideas. We are looking for you—a qualified mathematics teacher (we think broadly about level and formal specialist teaching qualifications)—who, together with regular mathematics teachers, wants to provide extra support to our students.
