About the workplace
Ersta Diakoni is Sweden's largest values-based actor in healthcare and social services. We provide medical care, social work, research and education, professionally and on a non-profit basis.
Our social activities include elderly care facilities, home care services, disability support services and social support. Every day we meet elderly people, people with disabilities and people in vulnerable life situations with the goal of creating security, independence and quality of life.
As a nursing director (MAS) and quality developer, you will have the opportunity to contribute to safe and secure care in operations that make a real difference for many people. Here, care as expertise is combined with systematic quality and patient safety work where the individual's needs are always central. You will become part of a values-based organization where development, quality and compassion go hand in hand.
We offer you:
meaningful work in a values-driven organization
the opportunity to influence and develop the future of care
engaged and competent colleagues
large contact surfaces and close collaboration with the operations
a workplace where we see the whole person – both those we are here to serve and our employees
a range of benefits that we hope will give you the conditions to thrive at work and have a rewarding leisure time.
About the role
This is a key role in our initiative to strengthen and further develop quality and patient safety work within our social services. plan and conduct training and competence-building initiatives
follow up and analyze quality and patient safety results
conduct internal audits and contribute to the development of quality and patient safety
monitor the external environment and implement new knowledge into improvements in quality and patient safety
support operations in systematic improvement work and development of quality efforts.
Who are you?
To thrive and succeed in the role, we believe you are a person who combines high professional integrity with a genuine commitment to quality and patient safety.
You find it easy to build trusting relationships and work well with people in different roles and operations. You are pedagogical and confident in supporting, guiding and challenging managers and operations in their development work.
We also believe that you:
work in a structured manner and have the ability to drive matters forward
are analytical and have good judgment
are attentive and have good collaboration skills
are unpretentious and contribute to a good collaborative climate
thrive in a role with many contact points
have the ability to translate legislation and requirements into practical and operation-related approaches.
You share Ersta's fundamental values of seeing the whole person and our core values: professionalism, trust and hope.
