We are now seeking a machine setup operator for our injection molding department. If you're not working as a setup operator today but have the right profile, we offer both internal and external training. AMB can provide machine setup operator training conducted during work hours. The training combines practical learning in production under the guidance of an experienced colleague, alternating with theoretical studies conducted by an external trainer. Read more at https://amb.se ABOUT THE POSITION As a machine setup operator you will Be responsible for and perform tool and mold changes in our injection molding machines. Inspect parts and handle materials at the machines. Troubleshoot and address production stoppages. Service and maintain the machine fleet. Monitor and control production standards and quality to ensure established goals are met. In due course, perform test runs with new production tools. Work with and be interested in automation and standardization of the injection molding process. Occasionally work as an operator in the current production section. YOUR PROFILE We are looking for someone with at least 3 years of upper secondary school, preferably with a technical focus, or equivalent experience or education. As a person, you are hardworking, curious, and have a good technical understanding. You have a strong sense of responsibility, are quality-conscious, and can make independent decisions when the work requires it. It is important that you enjoy working in a team but also independently and maintain good order when working. The position is initially a fixed-term employment, but with very good opportunities for permanent employment.
