This is a consulting assignment with good opportunities for employment with the company. You will initially be employed by Asta Agency but will work on-site at Arvid Nordquist. About the Role As a Machine Operator at Arvid Nordquist, you'll have a central role in coffee production, where you're responsible for safe and efficient operation of production equipment in the packing hall. You start up and monitor machines, perform sampling and quality checks, document production data in digital tracking systems, and handle deviations according to company procedures. Light preventive maintenance and daily machine care are also part of the role. You plan and prioritize your daily work based on production needs and contribute where needed, which means that over time you'll get to know several of the packing hall's lines and machines. Depending on the line, you work closely with two to three colleagues or with more independent responsibility, always within reach of your team. An important part of the day is the shift handover, where you actively share and receive information to ensure continuous production flow. You're happy to contribute improvement suggestions that strengthen quality, safety, and efficiency in production. The role is based on a two-shift schedule with the following pattern: Week 1: 06:00-14:10 Monday-Thursday, 06:00-14:20 Friday Week 2: 14:00-22:45 Monday-Thursday During certain periods, night shifts may be added based on operational needs. Qualifications and Characteristics We're looking for someone who takes initiative, is thorough, and has a natural sense for collaboration. You thrive with responsibility and are disciplined in your work, while remaining flexible and contributing where needed. You communicate naturally with colleagues and are equally comfortable working independently as in close collaboration with others. Additionally, you have: Experience from the food industry or other process industries. Basic understanding and interest in processes, machines, and maintenance Experience with digital systems and basic IT skills Ability to work in a structured manner and follow procedures, instructions, and quality requirements Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written Meritorious experience: Experience with deviation or maintenance systems Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene requirements Forklift Certificate A Additional Information Start: Immediately Location: Järfälla Scope: Full-time, two-shift Salary: To be agreed upon We apply continuous selection in this process, which means the position may be filled before the final application deadline.
