Whether you have previous experience or are ready to learn the trade from the ground up, we offer an exciting role where you can develop, grow, and contribute to products with high precision. About the position Start: Immediate Employment type: Fixed-term contract 6 months - with possibility of extension Working hours: 2-shift Location: Västervik As a machine operator, you work in a manufacturing process where raw materials are mixed, shaped, and hardened into finished products. The work is done both at the machine and manually in various steps, where you are responsible for ensuring that the process runs smoothly according to established quality requirements. You will: Monitor and operate machines in production Mix and handle materials according to recipes Work with hardening processes (like a "baking process") Ensure quality and follow instructions carefully Perform basic maintenance and cleaning About you We are looking for someone who is thorough, responsible, and enjoys a practical role where you can work both independently and with others. You preferably have experience from industrial or production work, although it is not a requirement. As a person, you are quality-conscious, have an eye for details, and can maintain focus even at a high work pace. The role also requires that you are flexible and have good physical fitness, as the work includes practical tasks. Practical prerequisites The work includes tasks where you need to be able to reach and work with equipment at various heights, for example tasks that require you to stretch your arms above shoulder height. It is therefore important that you have the prerequisites to work ergonomically and safely in these situations. Formal qualifications Driver's license category B & access to a car Forklift license B Good knowledge of Swedish (speaking, writing, and reading comprehension) Good knowledge of English (speaking, writing, and reading comprehension) Meritorious Education / previous experience in industry, manufacturing, or production is meritorious but not required.
