Read more at: www.gustavsberg.com About the Position We are now seeking a machine operator for the production of mixers, i.e., faucets for kitchens and bathrooms at our Vårgårda facility. Production is organized in goal-driven teams where you work as a team, 5-10 people spread across shifts. A production group consists of machining, i.e., a milling machine that is connected with robotic grinding and polishing. The product, i.e., the mixer body, is then sent to our pre-plating line and then back to the group for final assembly. In this role, your work tasks will be to independently, and with great responsibility, reconfigure the processing line for different products as well as monitor, assess quality, and adjust during operation. As a machine operator, you are not fully occupied on the machine side, and you use your remaining time to support your group on the assembly side. To independently manage the work tasks, you should have workshop technical education or other practical background. CNC skills are highly valuable, but if you are the right person with technical and practical understanding, we also offer training on the relevant machines, cutting technology, quality, and product knowledge. Personal commitment and technical interest are necessary qualities. Work Tasks You will, among other things: Ensure stable and efficient production Load, operate, and monitor CNC milling machines and grinding and polishing robots Measure parts and perform dimensional adjustments Prepare and perform changeovers between different products Perform quality inspections according to applicable procedures Assemble and pack finished products Contribute to improvement work in production and quality Your Profile We are looking for you who has workshop technical education or equivalent practical experience and who feels comfortable in a technical and production-oriented environment.
