Do you want to operate machinery in the heart of Swedish mining industry? We are now looking for a Machine Operator for our operations at LKAB in Kiruna. Here you'll have a key role in daily material handling and the opportunity to work in a future-oriented industry where safety, sustainability, and teamwork are in focus. About the role With us you'll get practical and varied work where you operate modern machinery and contribute to efficient material flows every day. You'll become part of an engaged team where collaboration, responsibility, and initiative are highly valued. As a Machine Operator you'll primarily work with wheel loaders and material handlers to manage, sort, and move material within the area. You'll also help with loading transports and ensure that operations run according to plan. The work takes place within a fenced industrial area where safety always has the highest priority. We're looking for someone who enjoys taking responsibility and who sees opportunities where others see problems. You're a person who likes to get things done, who takes care of the machines you operate, and who contributes to a positive atmosphere in the work team. For us, personality and attitude are just as important as experience. We want to find the right person for the team. The work is currently scheduled for daytime, but shift work may become relevant as operations develop and material inflow increases. You have: Experience operating wheel loaders Class B driving license Swedish language proficiency (spoken and written) Responsible work approach Ability to work safely and in a structured manner Merits Experience in material handling or recycling Experience from industrial or mining environments Experience working within LKAB operations Forklift certification or other machinery licenses What we offer With us you'll have the opportunity to become part of a stable and growing company in a future-oriented industry.
