Glindrans Gård, a conventional dairy farm in Björkvik, is seeking their next machine operator and an animal caretaker with a focus on milking. The farm is located between Katrineholm, Nyköping, and Norrköping. The farm is built on long-term relationships, commitment, and a shared drive to work efficiently, especially during intensive periods such as harvest. Here you will become part of a tight-knit team with five employees in animal care and five in crop production and machine service. The farm is owned and operated by Per, Camilla, and Ida, who offer a family-friendly workplace with the possibility of on-farm housing. About the Position As an animal caretaker, your main task is milking. We have approximately 250 dairy cows and milk in a milking pit (double 10a fishbone). We milk the cows 3 times a day. As a machine operator, you will have a varied day with all types of tractor work involved in crop production. This will include, for example, plowing, harrowing, seeding, hay baling, threshing, Butterfly, BigM hoeing, loader operation, spreading with manure spreaders, and transport and feeding with a mixer wagon.
