We are now seeking a machine builder with a genuine interest in technology and problem-solving. In this role, you will work with the assembly and installation of customized machines that contain advanced systems in mechanics, pneumatics, electronics, control systems, and electromechanics. The work is varied and requires both precision and creativity. You have significant responsibility and work closely with colleagues in assembly, design, and project management – in an environment where quality, innovation, and technology are central. This position begins as a consultant employment with us at NearYou, where you work for our client Norden Machinery, with the goal of eventually transitioning to a permanent position at Norden Machinery. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, and based in Kalmar. Qualifications We are looking for someone with technical education and/or experience in mechanical assembly, preferably within advanced machine building. You have a genuine interest in technology, are hands-on, and are comfortable working with complex technical solutions. Experience with 3D CAD and blueprint reading is a merit, as these are used to support assembly work. As a person, you are organized, responsible, and collaborative. You work well with others but also enjoy taking ownership and driving work forward – from idea to finished machine. Your ability to solve problems and maintain order contributes to high quality in your work. Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written, is required.
