We are now seeking a machine builder with a genuine interest in technology and problem-solving. In this role, you will work with assembly and installation of customized machines, which contain advanced systems in mechanics, pneumatics, electronics, control systems, and electromechanics. The work is varied and requires both precision and creativity. You have significant personal responsibility and work closely with colleagues in assembly, design, and project management – in an environment where quality, innovation, and technology are at the center. The position begins as a consultant employment with us at NearYou, where you will work for our customer Norden Machinery, with the goal of transitioning to a permanent employment with Norden Machinery over time. The position is full-time, Monday to Friday, and located in Kalmar. Qualifications We are looking for someone with technical education and/or experience in mechanical assembly, preferably in advanced machine building. You have a genuine interest in technology, are practically inclined, and are comfortable working with complex technical solutions. Experience with 3D CAD and blueprint reading is a merit, as these are used to support assembly work. As a person, you are organized, responsible, and collaborative. You work well with others, but also enjoy taking personal responsibility and driving work forward – from idea to finished machine. Your ability to solve problems and maintain order contributes to high quality in your work. Good skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written, are required.
