Job Responsibilities
As a machine responsible mechanic at Gränges, you work in a team that drives preventive maintenance, upgrades, reconstructions, and projects where Environment, Health & Safety together with technical availability and productivity are the guiding principles. Together in our team, we drive improvements and solve problems.
In your work, you collaborate closely with both internal and external mechanics, electricians, and technicians where you prepare, plan, and coordinate maintenance work. You supervise internal and external resources during targeted maintenance activities.
Who are you?
We are looking for someone with experience working as a mechanic in maintenance, preferably from the process industry. Relevant education is technical vocational upper secondary school, or equivalent knowledge through experience. Knowledge of mechanical tolerances, blueprint reading, and hydraulics is of great importance for the position.
As a person, you take personal responsibility, work independently, and have the ability to take own initiatives. You have good collaboration skills, are communicative, thorough, and have a strong interest in safety, order, and cleanliness around you and your work.
Experience in maintenance work is a requirement.
Forklift and overhead crane certification, as well as welding skills, are advantageous.
Documentation and instructions may be in English, so knowledge of the English language is necessary.
