SIA "Bauskas slimnīca" invites applications for NURSES (general care nurses) in perioperative care Registration No. 43603017682 Profession Classifier Code: 2221 49 Requirements for Applicants - Level 1 professional higher education or bachelor's degree in nursing and training in perioperative care; - registration in the Register of Healthcare Professionals; - positive and professional attitude toward work; - precision, high sense of responsibility, and good communication skills; - ability to work in a team; - conscientious, honest, and responsible approach to fulfilling work duties; - knowledge of regulations governing the healthcare sector; - good computer skills, including the ability to work with office equipment, communication devices, smart devices, as well as software, information systems, and databases necessary for job duties. Main Work Responsibilities prepare instrument tables for surgery; register each patient's operation in the log; complete form M052-1 "Surgical Safety – Pre-incision Verification Checklist" sections 10–14; complete form M053-1 "Surgical Safety – Sign-Out Questions Before Patient Leaves Operating Room" sections 2 and 3; complete form M054-1 "Count of Surgical Instruments, Sponges, and Sharp Items"; perform operating room nurse duties during surgery; ensure timely delivery of analysis materials obtained during surgery to the histology laboratory and prepare necessary requisitions; observe established disinfection protocols; ensure proper delivery of medical materials and instrument sets for sterilization; comply with requirements for collection and management of hazardous and household waste.
