Position: General care nurse in perioperative care (LR Professional Classification Code 2221 49)
Work organization: Full-time work, accumulated work time, 24-hour or day shifts
Employment contract: Indefinite period
Work location: Hospital Operating Room, address: Aizputes iela 22, Kuldīga, Kuldīgas novads
Salary: hourly rate of 7.35 EUR per hour (gross) plus variable compensation;

Main job responsibilities:
Prepare patients for acute and planned surgeries, prepare the environment and equipment for surgical operations, assist in surgical procedures and support the doctor during surgery execution, etc.;
Provide qualified assistance to patients during operations;
Carry out medical procedures prescribed by the doctor;
Complete medical documentation in a timely, accurate manner, and in accordance with hospital and regulatory requirements;
Observe infection control principles;
Ensure confidentiality, data protection, and patient rights in professional activities;
Participate in healthcare and hospital development processes.
We expect that you have:
Nurse (general care nurse) education and specialization in perioperative care;
Registration in the Medical Professionals Register;
Desirable experience working in an operating room;
Understanding of basic patient safety principles;
State language knowledge in accordance with LR legislation;
Accuracy in performing job duties, high sense of responsibility, good communication skills, and ability to work in a team;
Ability to respond flexibly to changes;
Ability to respond quickly and act in emergency situations.
