Saldus Elementary School of Saldus Municipal Government (Reg. No. 4112900014) announces an open position for a Medical Nurse on an indefinite basis.
Requirements for candidates:
• Higher or secondary professional education – registration in the Medical Personnel Register, certificate;
• State language proficiency at C level, stage 2;
• Ability to prepare written reports and documentation;
• Knowledge of sanitary and hygiene requirements;
• Knowledge of disinfection, pest control, cleaning and hygiene products;
• Desirable experience in relevant work.
Main responsibilities:
• Observe and assess students' health status, conduct preventive health examinations for students;
• Provide primary emergency medical care in cases of serious injuries and illnesses until the emergency medical services team arrives;
• Provide medical care in cases of minor domestic injuries and illnesses, if the student's health and life are not at risk;
• In case of illness, exempt students from classes, but not longer than one school day;
• Together with school administration, monitor compliance with sanitary and hygiene standards in school premises;
• Provide support at school-organized events;
• Maintain records of mandatory health examinations for school pedagogical and technical personnel;
• Perform quality control and nutritional balance calculations for meals in the school food service facility.

• Salary 1127,70 EUR before tax deduction at the standard rate;
