Permanent, full-time position as a general care nurse at SIA "Ziemeļkurzemes reģionālā slimnīca" Talsu Branch SIA "Ziemeļkurzemes reģionālā slimnīca" is one of the largest regional healthcare institutions in Latvia, providing quality healthcare services in Ventspils and Talsi. We invite you to join our team as a general care nurse at the Talsu Branch. We expect: Registration in the Medical Practitioners Register and a valid healthcare professional certificate in nursing. Preferred previous work experience in a procedures office or outpatient care. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. High sense of responsibility, accuracy, and empathetic attitude toward patients. Ability to independently organize your work and make decisions within your competence. Good computer skills and experience working with electronic patient record systems. Ability to work in a dynamic environment. We offer: Stable employment and social guarantees. Bonuses in accordance with labor regulations and collective agreement for night shifts and work seniority. Piece-rate compensation based on work completed. Salary from 7,398 EUR/h (gross). Day shifts in procedure offices, outpatient departments, and specialist offices. Opportunity for additional work, including 24-hour on-call shifts. Free swimming pool access. Health insurance after probation period, if the hospital is your primary workplace. Main job responsibilities: Provide quality and professional patient care in procedure offices. Assist doctors in outpatient departments and specialist offices. Perform medical procedures in accordance with regulatory requirements and professional competence. Prepare patients for examinations and procedures. Ensure accurate and timely completion of medical documentation. Work with electronic information systems. Comply with infection control, workplace safety, and patient data protection requirements. Manage medical supplies and materials inventory within your competence.
