State limited liability company "Pauls Stradins Clinical University Hospital" (Registration No. 40003457109) invites applications for GENERAL CARE NURSE in the Neonatal Intensive Care and Treatment Department (fixed-term position) Main responsibilities: • Provide care and monitoring for term and preterm newborns according to the newborn's needs, severity of health condition, and level of care required; • Plan and provide family-centered care; • Complete accurate medical documentation; • Perform precise execution of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures prescribed by physicians; • Provide emergency assistance in accordance with your competence, working in collaboration with other healthcare professionals; • Educate parents on newborn care principles and breastfeeding; • Enter data into hospital databases and the e-Health system in accordance with the department's specifics and job competencies; • Attend and participate in professional development courses, seminars, and other activities for acquiring professional skills and experience. Requirements for applicants: • General care nurse / pediatric care nurse qualification; • Registration in the state register of healthcare professionals; • Previous work experience in the specialty is desirable; • Ability to set priorities, capacity to respond quickly and act in emergency situations; • Excellent communication skills, accuracy, high sense of responsibility; • Ability to work independently and in a team; • Mandatory state language proficiency; English language skills are desirable for exploring international experience and training opportunities outside Latvia; • Good computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet).
