State limited liability company "Pauls Stradins Clinical University Hospital" (Registration No. 40003457109) invites applications for a position in the NURSING Rare Diseases Department Key job responsibilities: • assess health status, attitudes toward health and treatment, and collect data for rare disease (RD) patients; • coordinate investigations, specialist consultations, and long-term care processes for RD patients; • participate in multidisciplinary consultations, providing patients with necessary support during treatment and care; • provide telephone consultations and electronic communication between RD patients and healthcare providers within the scope of competence; • organize and conduct training for RD patients and their relatives on subcutaneous and intramuscular medication administration, and promote development of patient self-care skills; • assess, monitor, and document vital functions and health status of patients; • perform medical procedures prescribed by physicians, including wound care, dressing changes, fluid aspiration, and other manipulations within the scope of competence; • prepare patients for acute and planned surgeries, and ensure necessary environmental and equipment preparation for surgical procedures; • assist physicians during diagnostic and surgical procedures; • evaluate patient care processes and outcomes, ensuring quality and patient-centered care. Requirements for candidates: • education in nursing; • registration in the healthcare professionals register; • attention to detail, initiative, high sense of responsibility; • ability to think analytically and make decisions, work in a team in urgent situations; • ability to work under increased workload and stress conditions; • mandatory knowledge of the state language; • good computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet).
