Be part of shaping the future of travel in Western Sweden. We are now looking for a land negotiator who wants to work with land acquisition issues in socially critical infrastructure projects and contribute to the region's development. Job Responsibilities As a land negotiator with us, you will be responsible for land acquisition matters, which includes negotiating compensation for purchase of and encroachment on properties, preparing property rights agreements, handling damage settlements/disputes, participating in planning and design work, and representing the Swedish Transport Administration in land surveying procedures as well as other contacts with authorities and private property owners. You will work on land acquisition issues in several of the Swedish Transport Administration's investment projects in Western Sweden. A significant part of the work is linked to the New Railway Gothenburg-Borås, one of Sweden's largest infrastructure investments, but you will also contribute to investment projects with varying scope and complexity. The work involves extensive collaboration with property owners, authorities, and other stakeholders. It is a varied role where you work both independently and together with colleagues from different parts of the Swedish Transport Administration. At the Swedish Transport Administration, you have the opportunity to develop within land negotiation through our internal training program while working on socially critical projects that contribute to future infrastructure. Qualifications We are looking for someone who is initiative-taking and independently sees what needs to be done and acts accordingly, with the help of your good problem-solving skills. Since the work involves many contacts with property owners, the public, and other stakeholders, it is important to be a good relationship builder who builds new networks, maintains existing ones, and inspires confidence. You are confident and have good communication skills, conveying messages in a simple and attentive way, and adapt your communication to the recipient. Furthermore, you are a team player with good collaboration skills and share the information needed to achieve desired results. We are looking for someone who has a university or college degree of at least 180 credits in surveying, or alternatively other relevant academic education combined with experience that the Swedish Transport Administration considers equivalent few years of current and relevant work experience with property rights issues very good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing driver's license for cars. It is an advantage if you have current and relevant work experience with valuation and negotiation within the property rights area land acquisition issues property rights issues within infrastructure and/or community development processes.
