As a Land Acquisition Specialist with us in Östersund, you help find solutions where law, public benefit, and people's interests meet. Work Responsibilities As a Land Acquisition Specialist, you are the link between Trafikverket, property owners, municipalities, authorities, and other stakeholders. You are responsible for land acquisition issues throughout all project phases and contribute to ensuring that our road and railway projects can be implemented. You work across all project phases—from planning to completion. The varying scope and complexity of projects means your responsibilities are broad and the questions you address are diverse. Some examples of tasks you perform independently and in collaboration with colleagues: evaluate and negotiate compensation for encroachments and damages draft property rights agreements maintain contact with affected property owners represent Trafikverket in surveying proceedings and other authority interactions No two days are alike. You meet people with different perspectives and interests, which requires both legal understanding and good judgment. The role demands that you can build trusting relationships both externally and internally, conduct constructive dialogues, and carry out negotiations where different interests must be weighed against each other. We are looking for someone who has: a university or higher education degree of at least 180 credits (120 points) in surveying/construction and society or legal education with a focus on property law, alternatively another higher education or university degree of at least 180 credits (120 points) combined with work experience we assess as equivalent several years of current and relevant work experience in land acquisition, property formation, or other property law matters good ability to express yourself in Swedish both verbally and in writing driver's license for a passenger car It is a merit if you have: current and relevant work experience in valuing land encroachments or properties and negotiating compensation current and relevant work experience in land acquisition or other property law matters within infrastructure and/or construction processes Additional Information Want a flexible workday with the opportunity to work from home?
