We are seeking engaged and driven ground workers for Nåiden and their projects in Umeå! We are looking for someone who has an interest in ground and infrastructure work, enjoys working with your hands, and understands the importance of working together as a team. About the Position As a ground worker at Nåiden Infra, you will work on varied ground and infrastructure projects for some of Nåiden's major initiatives. You will become part of a tight-knit team in a stable and family-oriented company with short decision-making processes. You will be employed for 6 months through Professionals Nord and work on-site at Nåiden Infra, with the possibility of continued employment afterward directly with Nåiden Infra. This recruitment process is handled by Professionals Nord and Nåiden's preference is that all questions regarding the position are directed to [email protected] Responsibilities As a ground worker at Nåiden in Umeå, you will work on one of their multiple projects during the coming season. These are all located near Umeå, though some driving may be required. Your tasks will vary, but will include the following: Excavate soil and rock to prepare for utilities, foundations, or roads Replace and compact soil or other materials after utilities, pipes, or foundations have been laid Install drainage systems to direct water away from buildings or roads Level and shape ground surfaces in preparation for paving, patio laying, or lawns Lay curbs, paving stones, or tiles Some ground maintenance such as grass cutting and watering Participate in site meetings, work preparations, and risk assessments Report deviations and contribute to improvement efforts Work takes place primarily outdoors during daytime hours, Monday–Friday or Monday–Thursday. You will receive comprehensive onboarding and a development plan tailored to you and your experience. We Are Looking For We place great emphasis on your personal qualities and are seeking someone who is engaged and takes responsibility. You are comfortable working independently but function equally well in a team and see the value in asking questions, prioritizing safety, and working as a unit.
