We are now seeking a confident, engaged, and development-oriented Medical Director for Rehabilitation, MAR. The position is newly established due to new legal requirements and is organizationally placed directly under the Social Director. The assignment involves close and continuous collaboration with the Medical Director Nurse (MAS). The position is a full-time role where part of the assignment consists of the role as Medical Director for Rehabilitation (MAR), while the remaining part involves support at an overarching level within the administration. Since the role is new, the content of the assignment will be shaped and developed over time. About the Role As Medical Director for Rehabilitation (MAR), you have overall responsibility for quality and safety within the rehabilitation area of our operations. You are a key person in strategic quality work and contribute to ensuring our patients receive good, safe, and evidence-based rehabilitation. The position involves close collaboration with management, operations, and other professions within health and medical care, social services, and administration. Your Responsibilities Responsible for quality and patient safety within the rehabilitation area in accordance with applicable legislation Develop, monitor, and improve routines, guidelines, and working methods Drive and develop systematic quality work and improvement processes Plan, conduct, and follow up internal audits and analyze results as a basis for operational development Plan and ensure quality of educational initiatives and contribute to competence development within the organization Initiate and conduct investigations regarding deviations and risks Support managers and operations with rehabilitation matters Monitor the external environment and contribute to developing the future of rehabilitation Cooperate internally and externally with the region, other municipalities, and authorities We Offer You A stimulating and meaningful assignment Opportunity to influence and develop operations together with engaged employees Close and supportive leadership in an organization with short decision-making paths A team-oriented working approach where we together build an operation with quality, care, and development in focus A workplace where we value collaboration, innovative thinking, and respect Your Profile Are a licensed physiotherapist or occupational therapist Have several years of experience within rehabilitation, preferably from municipal operations Have good knowledge of legislation within health and medical care Have experience with quality and development work Are confident in working independently and driving change initiatives Have a driver's license Good digital competence and experience with operational systems It is meritorious if you have: Experience in leadership or strategic work Experience with training and supervision Experience with deviation management and quality monitoring Selection and interviews are conducted continuously during the application period, so please send in your application today!Welcome to the Social Administration in Haparanda!
