Job description As an NC programmer, you are responsible within a team for creating new and developing existing NC programs for turning and milling. This includes setup, method, tool selection and identifying the need for new technologies. We use Siemens NX as our programming tool and Vericut is used for simulation, verification and optimization of ISO code. Most of our production drawings and instructions as well as CNC programs are programmed on 3D models. We use Teamcenter for storing documents and programs. Quality and robustness are of paramount importance and we achieve this together with production technicians and operators. In the team, your expertise will have a major impact on GKN and our future competitiveness. Qualifications • Academic bachelor's degree, college studies or equivalent knowledge gained through experience • Knowledge and experience in cutting operations • Machine experience from turning and milling • Good understanding of production flow and quality outcomes • Team player with winning mentality! • Swedish and English in speech and writing Who are you?
