The Education Administration is responsible for preschools, primary schools, after-school programs, secondary schools, adult education, and child and student health services. Approximately 1,100 employees work here, together creating a safe and developmental school and childcare. Västerportskolan is an F-9 school with approximately 620 students and 85 employees. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a teacher at Västerportskolan, you work in a team where you collaborate with colleagues to provide our students with the best conditions for achieving their learning goals. Teaching takes place in mathematics, science, and technology for grades 7-9. You plan and implement instruction in an engaged and purposeful manner, and you follow up, assess, and document students' knowledge development. Mentoring and pedagogical lunch are part of the assignment. Västerportskolan uses digital tools in daily work, which requires good IT skills and experience using digital tools. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who is a certified secondary school teacher (grades 7-9) in mathematics, science, and technology. If you are a certified primary school teacher in mathematics, science, and technology for intermediate grades and are interested in studying to obtain certification for secondary school, you are also welcome to apply. You are a confident and clear leader in the classroom with the ability to create a learning environment where every student can develop optimally. As a teacher with us, you conduct work that places student learning at the center. You are an engaged teacher who can inspire and motivate students in their knowledge development. You have positive expectations of students and the ability to communicate these in a motivating manner. You approach students' perspectives when, together with other staff and leadership, you organize, drive, and develop the school's work. You collaborate easily and communicate well - your students know what they can do, where they're going, and how to get there. Salary form: Monthly salary. Employment type: Permanent employment.
