In autumn 2026, Haninge Municipality opened a brand new resource school, and we are now seeking a qualified and certified math and science teacher for grades 7-9 who wants to work at one of the resource school's smaller operations, Stallis. Here, students with extensive support needs will get the best possible conditions to succeed with their schoolwork. The Stallis operation is located adjacent to a horse farm where students combine their school day with other activities. Stallis is located in Västerhaninge. Your Assignment Your assignment as a teacher is to work together with other staff members who work directly with students to create the best possible conditions for the students' health, development, and learning. You are an integral part of the work to reach each student and collaborate with other staff at the Stallis resource school. As a teacher, you plan and conduct instruction individually and in groups and have a mentor role. You are an active part of the students' school day and participate in both learning situations and social break situations with the students. What We're Looking For in You We're looking for someone who believes that school has a decisive importance for students' futures, who feels strongly about the importance of learning and education, and therefore sees school as one of the most important arenas to work within. You want to work close to students and support them in reaching as far as possible. We're looking for someone who can take own initiatives, collaborate easily, and build relationships with those you meet. At this time, we're seeking a qualified and certified subject teacher in math and science subjects for grades 7-9. We look forward to hearing what you can contribute. Requirements: You have a certified and qualified subject teacher credential in math and science subjects for grades 7–9. Meritorious: Previous work with students in need of special support and work with similar assignments within a resource school or learning studio. Previous experience working with students with problematic school absenteeism. Experience working with Positive Behavior Support in school environments.
