We are now looking for you to work as a Meal Service Assistant with facilities maintenance duties at Mossens preschool within the Food and Facilities department. Here you will become part of an engaged team of approximately 40 employees who every day contribute to clean, safe, and functional facilities and good meals in our municipal operations. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Meal Service Assistant with facilities maintenance duties, you have a varied role where you contribute to both meal service and a clean, safe environment. In kitchen work, you are responsible for simple meal preparation, salad preparation and serving, as well as dishwashing and cleaning of kitchen surfaces. You receive goods deliveries, handle orders, and ensure that meals are served in a food-safe and appealing manner.
Within facilities maintenance, you work with daily cleaning, weekly cleaning, and deep cleaning in the preschool's facilities. You handle cleaning equipment and materials, replenish consumables, and ensure that the facilities are kept clean according to applicable cleaning schedules and procedures. The work involves moving around and may include heavier lifting of equipment and materials.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone with secondary education in large-scale catering and experience working in a kitchen or restaurant. It is advantageous if you have basic knowledge of professional cleaning, SRY course, or experience in facilities maintenance, but this is not required.
You need to be able to work independently and take responsibility for your tasks. Since much of our communication is digital, it is important that you can read, write, and communicate in Swedish.
As a person, you are service-oriented, flexible, and have a natural ability to collaborate. We place great emphasis on personal suitability and would like to see that you have a positive attitude and good social skills.
A B-category driver's license and access to your own car are advantageous.

Our operations require that you provide a valid certificate from the Police's criminal record register before employment. The certificate can be ordered free of charge via the Police's e-service and can be delivered digitally to Kivra or by mail. Processing time is approximately 1 - 2 weeks.
Salary form: Monthly salary.
Employment form: Fixed-term employment.
Duration: 3-6 months, start date: 2026-08-24 as soon as possible or by agreement, end date: 2026-12-31.
Working hours: Daytime.
