Malmö Opera is the heart and voice of musical theater in Skåne. The house opened in 1944 and is centrally located in the Öresund region, just 20 minutes from Copenhagen. The stage is one of the largest in Europe and the amphitheater-shaped hall seats 1500 guests. We perform classical, modern, and newly written musical theater. Malmö Opera has over 285 permanent employees and 500–700 cast members per season. We are now seeking a canteen assistant/cold kitchen worker for an on-call hourly position at Operagrillen – our staff canteen. Job Description As a canteen assistant/cold kitchen worker, you will work within the Food & Beverage Department and be responsible for the staff canteen. Your work will include preparation and preparation of cold dishes, salads, sandwiches, and other cold kitchen products. You will participate in daily production and contribute to the operation maintaining high quality, good service, and proper food hygiene. Other common kitchen and restaurant duties may also occur. The position reports to the kitchen chef. Qualifications We are looking for someone who is trained as a cold kitchen worker and has at least five years of experience working in restaurant, café, or large-scale kitchen operations.
