We work in teams with skilled colleagues in close collaboration with production units. Right now we're in an exciting transformation journey where Scania's entire production apparatus is being converted toward future transport solutions. We're in the midst of several major investments, including electrification of engines and transmissions. This creates many exciting development opportunities for all our employees. In this role, you'll become part of a team of maintenance engineers for machinery procurement that is part of the Engineering and Projects department. Our work is characterized by strong technical expertise, great drive and pace. We also place great value on safety, collaboration, and continuous improvements. We work closely and collaboratively with the production technical groups and their project managers. Together we're building Scania's future production. You work in project form together with the production technical departments, with local maintenance engineers as your customers. Your main responsibilities are to specify requirements regarding operational reliability and maintainability in procurements. Through Scania's machinery investment process, you ensure that our requirements are implemented in reality. You also conduct reference visits to evaluate concepts both in Sweden and abroad. We also value it if you have knowledge of blueprint reading, pneumatics, hydraulics, and mechanics. The ability to work independently and as part of a team is also important. You have very good general knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and are fluent in both Swedish and English, both spoken and written. Since you collaborate with many different stakeholders, you need to be comfortable switching perspectives and be adaptable to both environment and situation. Based on our shared vision, you gain and give energy when you collaborate and find innovative solutions together with others. Your interpersonal skills and trustworthy manner make it easy for you to build long-term and sustainable relationships.
