We have 30 apartments distributed across three units, eight apartments for residents with dementia and 22 for residents with high care needs. The facility also has common activity areas and several accessible outdoor spaces. Job Responsibilities Working at a specialized residential facility gives you a concrete opportunity to make a difference in someone else's life. The work involves motivating, supporting and assisting the care recipient in all everyday situations. Tasks include providing good care and service to our residents. This may involve assisting with personal care, meal situations, services and social activities. Our mission is to work based on made support decisions and the care recipient's own implementation plan. The implementation plan describes the service and how the care recipient wishes to receive the approved services; it is a tool for us in our work. As a team member, administrative tasks are part of the role, which means you should be able to document according to given guidelines and take responsibility for following up tasks handed over by other colleagues, unit managers or professionals such as nurses, occupational therapists or physiotherapists. Qualifications The role requires: High school's 3-year care program or other education or experience that the employer deems equivalent Good ability to express yourself in Swedish language, both orally and in writing Good knowledge and experience using computers and mobile devices in work Swedish is the common working language at the workplace, so you need to master the language both orally and in writing, at the level required by the job tasks. Many of your work tasks involve being able to receive instructions and pass on information in a correct and clear manner. You will collaborate and communicate with people from different language backgrounds and are expected to contribute your experiences and expertise in a positive and constructive manner. Meriting Qualifications Experience working in care and health services Education and/or experience with dementia, palliative care and geriatrics Experience working with delegated health and medical care tasks Trainer and/or mentor training Class B driver's license Employment Terms The positions are permanent full-time with the possibility of part-time work. The work involves day, evening and weekend shifts. Start date will be arranged by agreement. Selection and interviews will take place on an ongoing basis.
