Personal assistant needed for a man in Rejmyre – fixed morning and afternoon shifts Would you like meaningful work where you make a difference every day? Omsorgsgruppen is now seeking a personal assistant for a man in Rejmyre. This position suits you if you appreciate working independently, are calm and patient, and have the ability to motivate and create structure in daily routines. The work is one-to-one assistance and consists mainly of short shifts in the morning and afternoon. Working hours are currently scheduled for approximately 07:00–08:30 and 16:15–17:30. Work also occurs on weekends according to schedule. Work also occurs on Saturdays, preliminarily every other Saturday according to schedule. Between shifts, the client attends a day activity center. About the Role As a personal assistant, you will become an important support in the client's daily life. The client has dementia and is a calm and reserved person who appreciates safe, respectful, and predictable care. A large part of the task involves motivating and encouraging the client through various daily activities. With patience and a calm approach, you help the client maintain his routines and independence. Work tasks include, among other things: Support with morning and afternoon routines Assistance with toilet visits and personal care as needed Meal preparation and light housekeeping Receiving the client when transport services or taxi arrive from the day center and helping him into his home Social support and motivational assistance in daily life Support regarding the client's dog as needed The client has a strong interest in fishing and cars and is very fond of his dog. If you share any of these interests, it's a plus and can contribute to a good relationship. Other Information The position currently includes short shifts in the morning and afternoon. The client's schedule will be reviewed during the fall, which may mean that the scope of the position changes over time. A criminal record check is required before employment.
