The Air Defense Regiment is in a phase of growth, both in equipment and personnel. For the past few years, compulsory military service has been reintroduced for both men and women, which has resulted in more individuals completing military basic training. About the Workplace The position is located in the HR Department, which is part of the regimental staff at the Air Defense Regiment. The HR Department consists of two sections, the HR Section and the Personnel Section, where this position is placed in the Personnel Section. We maintain a high pace with great team spirit and continuously strive to deliver management support of the highest quality and service. About the Role Your primary task is to provide psychosocial support to conscripts before, during, and after military basic training. Support may consist of motivational and supportive conversations, educational and informational measures, and counseling. In addition to conversations, you will assist with work on confidence organizations, employee participation, and equal treatment for conscripts. The role involves close collaboration with the operations, unit leadership, and other functions within the Swedish Armed Forces. An important part of this work is to support our commanders in how to handle various personnel matters. You may also work together with Defense Health, the Soldier's Home, staff officers, and your network of conscript consultants at other units in Sweden. The conscript consultant also contributes expertise in developing health-promoting and preventive work and creating meaningful leisure activities. Work is carried out at the individual, group, and organizational levels. Qualifications Behavioral science education, social worker degree, or other education that the employer deems equivalent. Relevant work experience from supporting conversations, preferably as a counselor or equivalent. Class B driver's license. Meritorious MI training or other conversation training. Experience with consultative support to managers or equivalent. Experience working within the Swedish Armed Forces. Experience with crisis management. Other Information The position is a permanent civil employment on a full-time basis and begins with a six-month probationary period. You will work from an office but will also meet conscripts in their environment, which may involve evening and weekend work including travel. You will occasionally wear military uniform in field environments. Start date is as soon as possible or by agreement. The minimum salary placement for this position is 40 050 kr.
