JOB DUTIES As an LSS-Handler on our unit, you're part of important and meaningful work. Together with other colleagues, you investigate and make decisions about services according to the Act on Support and Service (LSS) and the Social Services Act (SoL) for both children and adults with disabilities. The work also includes routine tasks such as monitoring and reviewing previously decided services, as well as tasks related to case handling and surrounding processes and organizational development. The work involves dialogue with people seeking services and/or their relatives or representatives. The work also includes contacts, cooperation, and collaboration with other authorities, organizations, service providers, and other relevant partners, both internally and externally. To succeed in your role as an LSS-Handler, you'll receive an introduction and ongoing supervision from a Senior LSS-Handler. QUALIFICATIONS We'd prefer if you're educated as a social worker or have another relevant higher education degree that the employer deems equivalent. It's advantageous if you have documented knowledge and experience in case handling within LSS or other government administration, and have good knowledge of LSS and SoL including their regulations, legislative history, and case law. As an employee, you're responsible, have a positive attitude, are cooperative, and are professional in your dealings with individuals, relatives, partners, and colleagues. Work with us happens both independently and in teams. You have the ability to see the bigger picture and you see value in actively cooperating with others, and you're flexible in your approach. As a person, you're organized, thorough, and efficient in your work. You're good at prioritizing and expressing yourself well in speech and writing. Great importance is placed on personal suitability. You must have a Class B driver's license. A criminal records extract and suspected crimes register extract will be requested for those who are called for interviews. Employment Type: Permanent position.
