The Ensjöholm Association is seeking staff for the group home Lindgården. Variable hours. The work is primarily linked to a young man who lives in a private house belonging to the group home but also includes some work in the group home and daily activities for the individual. ABOUT THE OPERATION The Ensjöholm Association is an LSS housing facility for adults within personal group 1. The operation has a sociotherapeutic focus and is based on anthroposophic values. We have been running LSS operations for adults in Norrköping since 1982. The operation is run by an ideologically-driven, non-profit association. The Ensjöholm Association currently comprises 4 group homes with a total of 22 apartments and daily activities with 30 places. Housing and daily activities are distributed across two sites within walking distance of each other in a rural environment on the outskirts of Norrköping. It is one kilometer from the Kvarnberget bus stop. ABOUT THE WORK We are looking for committed individuals who want to work in a long-term and meaningful operation where quality, relationships, and respectful treatment are in focus. The position involves daytime, evening, night (on-call sleep-over), and weekend shifts. You will work in both housing and daily activities. TASK DESCRIPTIONS Working within the LSS framework with the goal of creating conditions for an independent, secure, and meaningful life. The starting point is the individual's needs, wishes, and abilities, with focus on participation, self-determination, and good treatment. The work involves supporting daily living based on individual needs such as personal care, meal support, shopping, cooking, cleaning, and other practical household tasks. You motivate and support participation in social activities, leisure activities, and other contexts that contribute to a meaningful daily life. You will also supervise daily activities for the individual. The work is varied and primarily independent. You are part of a team that together creates a safe, structured, and predictable daily life for the residents. An important part of the assignment is adapting your work approach to the individual's needs and addressing different situations with calmness, attentiveness, and professionalism. We work according to implementation plans and are responsible for documenting interventions according to applicable legislation in the Carebuilder system. The position includes delegated health and care tasks as well as cooperation with relatives, guardians, and other professionals to ensure quality and cohesive support. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who is a nursing assistant, social pedagogue, support pedagogue, or has equivalent education that meets our requirements. Experience working within LSS operations is a merit, as is feeling confident meeting people with various functional variations, including when they display challenging behaviors. Knowledge of clarifying pedagogy, low-arousal interaction, or alternative and augmentative communication (AAC) is seen as an additional plus. ABOUT THE POSITION As an employee, you work closely with our residents in their daily lives and provide individually tailored support based on needs and circumstances. The work involves care, support in daily activities, and contributing to a safe and predictable environment. The position requires independence, responsibility-taking, and good teamwork ability, as well as the ability to handle situations that can sometimes be complex and involve challenging behaviors. Salary by agreement We use a six-month probationary period. The recruitment process begins in week 31.
