We are seeking two Solution Architects specializing in data warehousing who want to join Svenska kraftnät's data-driven journey by transforming data into valuable insights and creating data architecture solutions that make a real difference for the entire organization.
About the Position
You will be part of the Data Analysis and Data Platform unit, which is responsible for providing platforms for storing, analyzing, and sharing data to enable secure and efficient use of data and information across the authority. The unit responds to inquiries and requests for structured data, such as data extracts and published reports.
The unit has an engaged team of 20 employees with expertise in data analysis, backend and frontend development, as well as IT specialists who manage architecture, application operations, and support for our platforms. We work according to agile principles in cross-functional collaboration with management and product owners on both operations and further development.
As a Solution Architect, you will help develop and implement solutions for how data should flow in from providing systems, be processed, refined, and forwarded to different consumers. You will also work on creating solution descriptions, managing the architecture, and contributing to the development of data flows and reports in our data platforms, such as Soda Batch, which is Svenska kraftnät's data lake and decision support solution.
You will work DevOps-based and be responsible for delivery from start to finish – from sketches and conceptualization to design and implementation – and you won't hesitate to dive into deep technical detail when needed, always with a focus on solutions that are smart and manageable.
An important part of the role going forward is to work on further developing the existing data lake to structure, simplify, and streamline the work of retrieving and using data.
The position will also include:
Developing technical design documents and solution descriptions as a foundation for development with focus on scalability, long-term viability, and manageability
Developing, driving, and following up on solution implementations
Managing and further developing the architecture in the data platform and data lake
Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to drive architecture development forward
In this role, you will be a key person in driving Svenska kraftnät's data-driven development and strengthening the organization's ability to use data as a foundation for decisions and insights. You will have good opportunities to influence working methods and solutions within the given scope for the organization.

Further, you have relevant higher education or university degree in Engineering, Systems Science, or Computer Science, or equivalent education and work experience that Svenska kraftnät considers equivalent. You also have:
At least 8 years of professional experience in development, design, and architecture within data warehousing/data warehouse/data lake
At least 5 years of professional experience in solution architecture within data warehousing/data warehouse/data lake
Very strong knowledge of Swedish and English in both spoken and written form
We consider it a merit if you have:
Experience working with big data solutions based on clusters, such as Hadoop/Cloudera
Experience working with Linux, Spark, and Python
Experience collaborating with infrastructure expertise
Good knowledge of IT security
Experience with agile working methods and tools
