About the Job
We are Gothenburg! Now we need you to take a central role as a solutions architect in various assignments and development projects, such as procurement of new and existing IT systems used by the entire City of Gothenburg. You will be part of a unit with various architecture roles that serves as support to projects/assignments where your focus will be on solutions architecture.
You will also participate in work on common architecture-related matters.
Your focus will be on services in the areas of Document Management, HR, Finance, decision support, automation, case management, and information management.
Examples of work tasks and responsibilities:
* Act as responsible solutions architect in development and procurement projects
* Serve as a communication channel for technical questions between projects, suppliers, and customers.
* Handle functional and non-functional requirements/dependencies for central IT systems in the City of Gothenburg
* Quality assure documentation and information
* Participate in the preparation of incoming needs and development proposals
* Lead workshops with both business and IT experts as participants
About You
We are looking for someone with a university-level education in the IT field or equivalent competence acquired in other ways, as well as several years of relevant professional experience as a solutions architect in a larger organization. You have experience from leading technical roles in procurement projects. You have good knowledge of various types of models and frameworks within the field of solutions architecture.
It is a merit if you
- have experience in information management and document management.
- are a certified IT architect.
- have worked with IT in the public sector.
As a person, you are unpretentious and have good collaboration skills and can lead others in your work. You are used to driving your work independently and have a developed analytical ability where you are skilled at making trade-offs and finding solutions to move forward in what you do. You are technically interested with a greater focus on the big picture than on details and understand the interaction between IT solutions and our customers' operations
