On Via Trafikutbildningar is now seeking an engaged and development-oriented payroll specialist for our headquarters in Kalmar. On Via is in a strong growth and development phase and has taken further steps in its position on the Swedish market through strategic expansion. The business is growing and the organization is now being strengthened to meet the next phase of the company's development. As part of this expansion, the finance department in Kalmar is growing from 5 to 9 employees, and On Via is moving to new, centrally located premises in Kalmar in spring. About the Role As a payroll specialist at On Via, you will be an important part of the strengthened finance department. The role combines qualified operational payroll work with the opportunity to influence and develop the payroll function. On Via is facing procurement and implementation of new systems, which means you will have an important role in developing systems, routines and working methods. You report directly to the CFO and will be part of a finance department where you will have close collaboration with colleagues in accounting and finance. Your main areas of responsibility: Responsible for and work with the entire payroll process from start to finish for approximately 400 employees. Quality assure payroll payments and carry out reconciliations Ensure correct payroll handling in accordance with laws, regulations and collective agreements Handle matters related to, for example, vacation, sick leave, pensions and employer contributions Provide support and service on payroll matters to managers and employees Prepare reports and documentation in the payroll area Develop and document routines and processes within the payroll function Identify improvement opportunities and contribute to more efficient ways of working. You report directly to the CFO and the placement location is Kalmar. Qualifications We are looking for someone with several years of experience in qualified payroll work who wants to take the next step in a role where you get the opportunity to work operationally and help develop the payroll function. We would like to see that you have: Relevant post-secondary education in payroll, accounting and/or HR administration Several years of experience in qualified payroll work Good knowledge of Swedish payroll management Experience with collective agreements, particularly Unionen Good system skills and interest in system-related matters Experience of or interest in process and routine development Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. Experience with system changes or implementation of payroll systems is a merit. As a person, you are thorough, structured and responsible. You are confident in your work, have a solution-oriented approach and enjoy collaborating with others. You are also curious and enjoy developing both yourself and your working methods.
