Your role – where quality meets development As a Payroll Specialist at Boliden, you will be a key person in our payroll team. You will work both operationally and developmentally with the entire payroll process, from payroll runs to analysis and improvement work. Here you will handle complex payroll matters with high quality and accuracy while driving the work forward by developing working methods, processes and systems. Your team and context You will become part of an engaged team consisting of nine payroll specialists and report to the Payroll Manager. Together, you are responsible for payroll deliveries to all of Boliden's operations in Sweden. We work closely with the business and have a culture characterized by collaboration, knowledge sharing and strong team spirit. The position is primarily located in Boliden, but there is also the possibility of placement at one of Boliden's other operational sites. Your responsibilities As a Payroll Specialist, you will work broadly in the payroll field with a focus on quality, service and improvement. Manage payroll runs and ensure correct and timely deliveries Provide support and advice to managers and employees on payroll matters Work with collective agreements, interpretations and employment law issues Handle matters through our case management system Participate in development and streamlining of processes and systems Contribute to analysis, deviation handling and quality assurance Your profile We are looking for someone with experience in qualified payroll work and who feels confident handling complex matters independently. You have a good understanding of employment law and collective agreements and work methodically with high accuracy. You are service-oriented, solution-focused and enjoy working in a role where you can collaborate and build trust in the organization. At the same time, you have strong personal drive and take responsibility for your deliveries. We would like to see that you have: Post-secondary education in payroll, accounting or equivalent experience Experience managing payroll for both salaried and collective workers Good knowledge of Swedish and English, spoken and written B-level driver's license Experience with different payroll systems is a merit.
