Payroll Consultant for Extended Consulting Assignment in the Uppsala Region

About the Assignment We are now seeking a qualified payroll consultant for an extended consulting assignment with an well-established international organization in the Uppsala region. The role involves overall responsibility for payroll management and close collaboration with HR, managers, and other internal functions. As a payroll consultant, you will work both operationally and in an advisory capacity on payroll-related matters and contribute to ensuring a correct, efficient, and high-quality payroll process. Responsibilities In this role, you will, among other things: - Take responsibility for payroll administration and payroll runs from start to finish - Ensure correct and timely payroll management - Handle vacation, absences, compensation, and final settlements - Perform reporting to authorities and external partners - Prepare statistics, reports, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders - Provide support and advice to managers and employees on payroll and contract-related matters - Issue employer and employment certificates - Work in payroll systems and contribute to the development of routines and processes - Participate in recurring annual calendar activities and payroll-related projects This is a consulting assignment through Adecco covering a temporary position. The assignment starts immediately and runs through 2026-12-31, with the possibility of extension. About You We are looking for someone with several years of experience in qualified payroll work and who feels confident independently managing the entire payroll process. You have a good understanding of laws, regulations, and collective agreements related to payroll and have a knack for learning new systems and ways of working. It is an advantage if you have also worked in Worklinq or other HR systems.
