About the Role
Would you like to combine operational responsibility with strategic development in an organization where quality, service, and continuous improvement are in focus? We're now looking for a Payroll Manager who wants to lead and develop our payroll team within Infralogistic EQ's Shared Service Center.
As Payroll Manager, you have an important role in leading and developing the payroll function together with your team of five employees, for whom you also have personnel responsibility. This is a role for someone who thrives being close to the operations and your colleagues – you lead the team while also being part of the day-to-day payroll work.
With your specialized expertise in payroll, you are a natural support for the team in daily operations, while also driving the development of processes, system support, and working methods.
Your main areas of responsibility will include:
Personnel responsibility for the payroll unit with responsibility for management, competence development, and resource planning
Ongoing payroll work
Lead, develop, and ensure quality in the payroll function.
Ensure that payroll management is handled correctly and in accordance with laws, collective agreements, and internal guidelines
Participate in the payroll process and drive standardization, efficiency improvements, and digitalization
Participate in development projects related to systems, automation, and business development
Serve as specialist support to operations managers and HR on payroll, agreements, and regulatory matters
Ensure good internal controls, regulatory compliance, and audit-secure processes
It is meritorious if you have worked with international payroll for Nordic countries
Who Are You
You are a team-oriented leader with experience in a similar role and thrive leading teams while switching between operational payroll work and strategic development work.
We're looking for someone with post-secondary education in payroll, economics, HR, or equivalent, plus several years of experience in qualified payroll work.
You are comfortable working in complex organizations and have good knowledge of laws, collective agreements, and regulations related to payroll management. If you have experience with Shared Service Center operations or centralized payroll processes, we see that as meritorious.
You have good system understanding and experience with modern payroll systems, preferably Kontek. Your skills in Excel and Microsoft 365 are strong, and you see digitalization as a natural tool for creating efficient processes.
