About the role
As a Salary Administrator, you will be an important part of the payroll office and be responsible for ensuring correct and efficient payroll management. You work closely with colleagues in payroll and HR and serve as support to the organization's employees on payroll-related matters.
The role encompasses work with complete payroll management up to payroll processing and suits you if you enjoy administration, problem-solving, and providing service to internal customers.
Your main tasks:
Process and verify payroll data.
Handle travel expenses, out-of-pocket costs, and advances.
Administer leave, absence, benefits, and certificates.
Perform payroll-related corrections and calculations.
Compile time and absence reports.
Prepare payroll lists, reports, and statistics.
Report taxes and employer contributions.
Answer employee questions regarding salary, vacation, and other compensation.
Ensure that routines, controls, and processes are followed.
You will work in a team with other Payroll Specialists and Payroll Administrators where collaboration, quality, and service are the focus.
Who we are looking for
We are looking for someone with several years of experience in payroll administration who feels confident in the entire payroll process. You work in a structured manner, have a good understanding of collective agreements, and are used to handling multiple matters in parallel without compromising on quality.
To succeed in the role, we believe you are thorough, responsible, and have a professional approach. You thrive in a service-oriented role where you can combine administration with contact with employees and internal stakeholders.
We would like to see that you have:
YH education in payroll or equivalent education.
At least three years of experience working as a Salary Administrator.
Good knowledge of payroll systems.
Good knowledge of accounting systems.
Good understanding of collective agreements.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Very good ability to communicate in Swedish, both verbally and in writing.
Other requirements:
A reference must be provided from one (1) assignment completed within the last five (5) years where you have worked for at least one (1) year as a payroll administrator, payroll specialist, or similar role in payroll.

About the employment
This is a long-term consultant assignment where you will be employed as a consultant by OIO. The assignment is initially two years, with the possibility of extension up to an additional two years.
Terms & benefits:
Start: October 1, 2026 (1/10).
Scope: Full-time.
Location: Norrköping.
Assignment duration: October 2028 (2 years), with the possibility of extension for an additional 2 years.
Work model: During the assignment period, the need to work on-site at the office in Norrköping will vary. The first month you must be on-site 100%, after which there is an opportunity to work remotely approximately one (1) - two (2) days per week if work permits.
Compensation: Fixed monthly salary.
