As a facilities cleaner, you will work with services that include systematic facilities maintenance in operations as well as periodic floor care, move-out and turnover cleaning, and various specialized cleaning services. The scope and frequency of our facilities care work is structured according to Repab's recommendations and the Public Health Agency's general guidelines.
You will work both independently and in groups. Since you will meet many of our customers in your work, you are an important representative of our operations and a good ambassador for Hässleholm Municipality. Some heavy lifting may be involved.

About the Position
Facilities maintenance within the technical administration may include:
Cleaning offices, corridors, classrooms, restrooms, and stairs
Collaboration and communication with colleagues and customers
Measuring and using chemical products
Refilling and ordering supplies
Waste and laundry management
Operating a combination cleaning machine
Using digital tools such as the municipality's intranet, email, and Teams
Working hours vary and can begin as early as 6:30 AM and end as late as 5:00 PM. This is an hourly position, and you will work throughout Hässleholm Municipality.
Who Are You?
We are looking for someone who:
has a high school diploma or other education combined with experience that we consider equivalent
speaks and writes Swedish fluently, which is important for reading and following work instructions
has a Class B driver's license and access to a vehicle
has basic computer skills, as we communicate, inform, and report extensively via smartphones and various platforms such as Teams and Office365
can handle physically demanding work, has good physical fitness and mobility
We consider it a merit if you have:
specialization/professional training in facilities management
experience from other service professions
As a person, you are self-motivated, responsible, and can work both independently and in groups. The role requires an inclusive approach characterized by diversity, influence, and care.

The Technical Administration is responsible for creating safe, functional, and sustainable environments for the municipality's residents, employees, and visitors. We work broadly and in coordination across several important service areas including facilities, streets and parks, meals, and facilities maintenance. With us, you work to make daily life better for our residents every day.
Within the facilities and laundry department, approximately 150 employees work. We maintain facilities and serve operations within elderly care and services for people with disabilities. We are present in preschools, elementary schools, after-school programs, high schools, special residential facilities within the care administration, and offices. With a focus on service and customer relations, we meet operational needs with high expertise and visible quality. Operational development is important to us—it's about being responsive and open to testing and using new techniques and methods. Our goal is satisfied operations and customers who see that we contribute to efficient resource use and extend the lifespan of the municipality's facilities, buildings, and equipment.
