Ågrenska is beautifully located on Lilla Amundön, 15 kilometers south of Gothenburg, and is owned by Ågrenska Foundation, a non-profit organization. In addition to short-term stays and day activities, Ågrenska offers family programs, adult programs, personal assistance, family support, and courses and training.
At Ågrenska, facilities maintenance is an important part of the whole. Through your work, you contribute to making our guests feel welcome and safe during their stay with us. We are now seeking an engaged facilities caretaker who wants to be part of our service team and make a difference every day.
About the Position
Ågrenska is a large operation with many different types of facilities, both older and newly built. Here is a comfortable environment where families, children, and youth stay during their visits with us.
As a facilities caretaker, you work closely with our operations and are responsible for cleaning:
- Bedrooms
- Classrooms
- Playrooms
- Common areas
- Restrooms
- Offices
- Staff areas
The work includes both manual and machine cleaning. The position also includes ordering supplies and managing laundry.
You will be part of our service team where we value good cooperation, communication, and professional conduct toward both guests and colleagues.
Who Are We Looking For?
We are looking for someone who enjoys providing good service and who takes pride in delivering high-quality work.
You also have:
- Good experience in facilities maintenance, at least two years
- Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
- Are thorough, responsible, and quality-conscious
- Are flexible and adapt easily when operational needs change
- Enjoy working both independently and with others
- Have a friendly and service-oriented manner
- Have good physical condition as the work can sometimes be physically demanding
SRY training or equivalent is a merit.
