Our Cleaning and Facilities Services department is responsible for facilities maintenance across municipal buildings, focusing on daily cleaning and planned maintenance. We also provide facilities services, internal mail handling, and custodial services. With approximately 350 employees, we clean 510,000 square meters daily across schools, senior care facilities, and other municipal buildings. Work as a Facilities Custodian As a facilities custodian with us, you play an important role in creating clean, safe, and sustainable environments. For us, facilities maintenance isn't just a job—it's part of creating a better experience for those in our schools, preschools, senior care facilities, sports halls, offices, and other municipal buildings. We therefore prioritize continuously improving our cleaning methods and ensuring our employees have access to modern tools and cleaning systems. Your responsibilities: Daily cleaning, planned deep cleaning, and floor care. Operating cleaning machinery. Maintenance of cleaning equipment and machinery. Ordering cleaning supplies. Daily contact with people using the facilities. Quality control of your own work to ensure we maintain high cleaning standards. About You We're looking for someone who values order and tidiness and wants to contribute to improvements. You enjoy working independently and collaborating with colleagues. If you have an eye for detail and like working in a structured way, this is the job for you! We require: Completed upper secondary education. Experience with facilities maintenance in public services. Good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written, to communicate and follow instructions, plus basic English language skills. Category B driver's license and access to your own vehicle. It's advantageous if you have training in SRY, PRYL, or similar certifications. Are prepared to handle physically demanding work, including heavy lifting and operating cleaning machinery, performing floor care, etc. Upon employment, a clearance certificate from the police criminal records register must be provided, in accordance with the law on suitability screening.
