Our Operations The Rehabilitation Unit currently consists of occupational therapists, physical therapists, speech-language pathologists, and social workers. On the unit, we value good collaboration and work in multiprofessional teams around the patient. To motivate our patients, respectful communication is an important part of our work, which is why we offer all employees training in motivational interviewing. Your Assignment As a speech-language pathologist, your assignment is to work patient-centered based on patients' individual conditions and needs. You often work individually but, when needed, collaborate in teams for the best possible assessment and rehabilitation, with the goal of achieving optimal functional capacity and quality of life for the patient. Your work tasks include diagnosing and treating swallowing difficulties, language, voice, and speech disorders, prescribing assistive devices, and providing information and guidance to family members and staff. You meet patients at all care levels, in inpatient care, at home, and at outpatient clinics. Work is conducted primarily within the stroke care pathway, but you will also work with other patient groups. You can expect varied and enriching work tasks. Supervising students is part of the assignment. Your Qualifications We are looking for someone who is a licensed speech-language pathologist, preferably with prior experience working in neurological speech pathology. Class B driver's license Your Competencies You are an engaged and positive colleague who wants to influence and develop our operations.
