Responsibilities As a speech-language pathologist in habilitation, you work with speech, language, communication, oral motor skills, and eating, swallowing, and drinking difficulties. Your responsibilities include assessment, diagnosis, treatment, follow-up, assistive device prescription, and a large part of consulting with parents and staff. The work is characterized by variety and involves working in a team around the child/young person. Work takes place at the habilitering facilities and, as needed, in the patient's local environment. Qualifications You must be a licensed speech-language pathologist with experience working with children and young people with functional disabilities. Experience working in habilitation is strongly meriting. Collaboration skills, flexibility, and good interpersonal relations are essential to us, so considerable weight is placed on personal suitability. The position involves travel, so a Class B driver's license is required.
