About the Position
As a Logistics Project Manager at Siemens Energy in Finspång, you will work with material supply for customer projects around the world. You will be part of an engaged team within the Service project organization, where you together are responsible for coordinating and delivering tools, instruments, and spare parts for gas turbine inspections, modifications, and major repairs.
The role is varied and includes both long-term planned deliveries and situations where conditions can change rapidly. You have overall responsibility for material supply in your projects and drive the work from order to delivery. In your daily work, you have many contact points and collaborate with colleagues in several parts of the organization in Finspång, global regions, and external customers.
In your role, your main tasks will include:
Ensure material deliveries, including tools and instruments, for planned and unplanned maintenance and repairs
Follow up and report on material status and maintain ongoing dialogue with project managers, customers, and local companies
Conduct delivery offerings and coordinate work with procurement, workshop, warehouse, packing, and logistics departments
Collaborate with the logistics department on customs, export, import, and related documentation
Monitor deliveries, conduct root cause analyses, and take corrective measures to contribute to high delivery reliability and OTD
Act as sub-project manager toward the service workshop during workshop operations
Work with continuous improvements and development activities and represent logistics project management in various forums
The position as Logistics Project Manager is a full-time consulting assignment with a planned start in early November 2026 and runs for one year.
About You
We are looking for someone with several years of work experience in Supply Chain and logistics or education in the field. As a person, you are a team player who collaborates easily across departmental boundaries and with different professions. Important for the position:
Experience in Supply Chain and logistics or relevant education
Good planning skills and a structured way of working
Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
Meritorious with experience of SAP
