The Medicines Center is Region Västerbotten's expert body on pharmaceutical matters, working toward evidence-based, patient-safe, and cost-effective medicine use and medicine supply within Region Västerbotten. The Medicines Center's staff are located in Umeå at Norrlands University Hospital (NUS), in Skellefteå at Skellefteå Hospital, in Lycksele at Lycksele Hospital, and at the Rural Medicine Center in Storuman. At the Medicines Center, you will be part of an engaged team consisting of doctors, nurses, pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and administrative staff. 1 position(s). DUTIES You will be part of the team providing the Medicines Service at NUS and Skellefteå Hospital. The work is physically demanding as you will be standing, walking, and lifting packages for much of the workday. You will work with ordering and unpacking medicines, expiration date checks and organized medicine inventory management, as well as related tasks. You will work in a team with logistics technicians and pharmacists. Digital meetings and contacts, as well as travel within the region, will occur. QUALIFICATIONS It is an advantage if you are trained as a pharmacy technician or have some years of experience working in healthcare or with medicines. You are structured and methodical in your way of working and see collaboration as a prerequisite for success. You need to have an easy way of expressing yourself in speech and writing, and have good experience working in various IT systems/programs. We place great emphasis on personal qualities. The position requires upper secondary school education and Swedish language skills at least at level C1 according to the Council of Europe's level scale. Employment form: Fixed-term employment. Duration: 6 months or longer, start date: 2026-09-01, end date: 2027-12-31. Working hours: Daytime.
