We are now looking for a logistics coordinator for a consulting assignment with our client, a global logistics company in Solna. As a logistics coordinator, you will become an important part of daily logistics and are responsible for ensuring that our customers' shipments are planned, booked and delivered according to agreement – on time and at the right price.
About the role
As a logistics coordinator, you are a central point of contact between customers, carriers and internal functions. You are responsible for coordinating transport flows from order to delivery and ensure that each shipment is handled with high quality and with the customer's needs in focus.
You will work in a dynamic environment where conditions can change rapidly. Therefore, you need to be comfortable solving problems, prioritizing and making decisions – while maintaining structure and accuracy.
Your main responsibilities:
Receive, validate, plan and book customer orders and select appropriate transport methods.
Coordinate transports and, if necessary, procure ad hoc solutions.
Ensure that necessary transport and export documents are correct and complete.
Keep systems and master data updated with correct information about shipments.
Proactively communicate delivery status, deviations and solutions to customers and recipients.
Ensure correct invoicing and handle complaints and customer issues.
Develop good customer relationships and drive operational meetings and follow-ups.
Work actively with customer satisfaction and continuous improvement.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for you who have 2–3 years of experience from the logistics industry, preferably from a 4PL environment, and who have a good understanding of operational logistics processes and different transport methods.
To thrive and succeed in the role, you are solution-oriented, structured and service-minded. You have a talent for building good relationships and communicate clearly and professionally, both with customers and colleagues.
