Responsibilities As a logistics specialist, you will play a central role in the company's material flow and serve as an important link between suppliers, warehouse, production, and other parts of the business. You are responsible for placing, following up on, and ensuring that orders are delivered according to plan, while keeping information in the business system updated and accurate. The role involves many touchpoints, where you collaborate closely with procurement, warehouse, production, product managers, and the sales organization to create efficient delivery flows and resolve any discrepancies. The work is largely ongoing and system-based, where you handle orders, updates, and follow-ups at a high pace. You will also have daily contact with international suppliers, where you follow up on deliveries and handle discrepancies. This means you need to be comfortable engaging in dialogue, setting requirements, and driving matters forward when problems arise, ensuring they are resolved completely. Beyond this, you work with transport bookings, delivery tracking, invoice handling, and customs and import matters. Examples of responsibilities: - Place orders and follow up on supplier deliveries - Handle order confirmations and update delivery information in the business system - Plan and book transportation within Sweden and internationally - Follow up on discrepancies, complaints, and supplier matters - Handle supplier invoices as well as customs and import matters - Collaborate closely with warehouse, production, product managers, and the sales organization to ensure efficient delivery flows Education, Experience, and Personal Qualities - Experience in operational procurement, logistics, or similar process-oriented work - Basic knowledge of Excel - Good computer skills and experience working with business systems (ERP) - Good Swedish and English, both spoken and written We also consider the following as merits: - Post-secondary education in logistics, such as vocational training (YH) - Knowledge of customs, VAT, freight, and/or procurement matters - Knowledge of additional European languages We are looking for someone who is organized, thorough, and thrives in a role where order, quality, and responsibility are a natural part of everyday work.
